Made by CHIPS Inc. in Mino-yaki (美濃焼), Gifu Prefecture, Japan's largest ceramic region with over 1,300 years of continuous production. CHIPS was founded in 2016 to make tableware people reach for without thinking, partnering with specialist Mino factories whose craftsmen understand the clay intimately. This dripper is designed as a companion to the CHIPS stackable mug, sharing the same Mino-yaki craft origins and the same considered approach to everyday form. The conical body suits a standard paper filter; internal ribs create an air gap between the filter and the ceramic wall, promoting an even, controlled pour. The glaze has subtle variations in speckling and colour that reflect the natural character of Mino clay firing. For 1 to 2 cups.
