NATURE Porcelain Rice Bowl, Leaves

At a glance

• Red dots and blue leaves wrap around the curved bowl with layered depth as it turns in the hands
• Compact, deeper form sits naturally in the hands for rice, porridge, yoghurt, soup or dessert
• Part of the matching NATURE tableware collection for an easy mix-and-match table

Designed to sit comfortably in the hands, this NATURE rice bowl has the compact, gently curved proportions of everyday Japanese tableware.

Rice may be its starting point, but the shape lends itself easily to porridge, yoghurt and fruit, a small serving of soup, side dishes or dessert.

The leaf pattern wraps around the outside of the bowl, with blue painted beneath the glaze and red dots added above it in a separate stage. Because the two colours sit at different depths, the pattern gains a subtle sense of dimension as the bowl moves in the hand.

Pair it with the matching Leaves pieces or mix it with the Stripe design across the wider NATURE collection.
