We’re Karen and Marco, thank you for visiting iromizu. We are delighted to join you on your journey to infuse everyday life with warmth and a sense of ritual. All products you see in iromizu are made in Japan, and many have been handcrafted in the same family for generations. We ship them to the U.K. directly from the makers and trusted suppliers in Japan.

Growing up in Hong Kong, we have been fascinated by Japanese culture and products, especially those that reflect the people and heritage behind them. Every time we visit Japan, it’s guaranteed that we bring home some Japanese crafts. We are certainly running out of space at home!

We believe our home should be a sanctuary for body and mind to find peace and calm, and to be joyful by appreciating objects that add warmth and meaning to every moment.

The mindset of Shokunin (職人) is embedded in the spirit of Japanese craftspeople, it supports the drive for perfection through consistent dedication and focus.

One of the things that always strikes us when visiting Japan is the exceptional sense of hospitality and care. We will do our best to offer an authentic, honest, and professional experience to our customers here in the U.K. All stock is in our warehouse, and we will get your order to you as quickly and carefully as we can.
