Six bowls, each with its own identity.

The three Kutani ware bowls bring the strongest colour, with glossy overglaze decoration that sits slightly raised from the porcelain. Umekiku, Ishidatami and Chidori each carry a different traditional Japanese motif, so choosing a bowl can become part of the meal rather than everyone reaching for an identical piece.

The two Arita ware KOSOMETSUKE bowls shift the mood towards softer antique indigo. Hand-painted gosu, deliberately varied lines and a special glaze give the lattice and reed-stripe designs a gently aged character inspired by early Imari porcelain.

The Hasami ware CAFÉ POTTERY bowl changes both colour and material. Its hand-painted red begonias, warmer earthenware body and naturally varied glaze give it a softer, fuller presence beside the porcelain bowls.
