For the Glass Chopstick Rest:
- Hand-Wash Only: Not dishwasher safe. Use a soft sponge; avoid metal scourers or abrasive cleansers, which can scratch and weaken the glass.
- Storage: Please do not stack with other items to avoid chips or cracks.
- Handmade Nature: Due to the artisanal process, expect subtle variations in colour, shape, and weight—each piece is one of a kind.

For the Wakasa-nuri Chopsticks:
- Gentle Maintenance: After use, wash promptly with water or lukewarm water and wipe dry with a soft cloth.
- Storage: Keep out of direct sunlight and away from high-heat sources (such as open flames or boiling water) to prevent warping or discolouration.
- Caution: Do not soak in water for long periods. Do not use in microwaves or dishwashers. If the lacquer coating cracks or chips, please replace the chopsticks for safety. Keep out of reach of small children due to the tapered tips.

At a glance

- Glass rest by Tsugaruvidro (津軽びいどろ), Aomori: Sakura Sakura (さくらさくら) series
- Shizuku (droplet) shape with sakura blossoms scattered within in soft pink glass
- Chopsticks: Wakasa-nuri (若狭塗) lacquer, Obama City, Fukui; in a decorative gift box

A droplet of glass with cherry blossoms caught inside it. The sakura do not sit on the surface; they are within the glass itself, visible through the soft pink transparency.

Tsugaruvidro (津軽びいどろ) is a glass craft from Aomori Prefecture that draws on the colours of the local sea, sky and seasons. Each piece is mouth-blown and hand-formed by craftsmen; the layered coloured glass shifts as the light moves across the surface, and individual differences between pieces are the mark of hand production. This set is from the Sakura Sakura (さくらさくら) series, designed to bring the warmth and quiet joy of spring to the table. The chopstick rest is formed in a shizuku (droplet) shape with cherry blossom motifs scattered inside the layered glass: soft cherry-blossom pink against the clarity of the glass. The rest is max 42mm across and 13mm tall. The chopsticks are Wakasa-nuri (若狭塗), a lacquer tradition from Obama City, Fukui Prefecture, designated as a traditional craft. Each pair is hand-finished; the wood grain and colour tone vary between pairs. The set comes in a decorative gift box, well-suited to a wedding, spring gift, or any occasion where the feeling of hanami (花見, blossom viewing) is the right note.
