Care instructions

Glass rests: Hand wash with a soft sponge. Do not use in a dishwasher or microwave. Avoid stacking and sudden impact.

Chopsticks: Suitable for a household dishwasher. Avoid prolonged soaking, direct heat and prolonged sunlight.

As with the Summer Festival set, the current Shopify page says the chopsticks are not dishwasher safe, so that field should be reconciled against the enclosed product instructions.

Cherry blossom colour appears as though it has been caught inside a drop of clear glass.

The original Sakura Sakura Shizuku design uses a rounded shizuku, or droplet, form with soft pink cherry blossom details visible within the layered glass. The colour gains depth as the piece is viewed from different angles rather than behaving like a flat surface pattern.

The rests are handmade in Tsugaru Vidro, so small differences in shape, colour and weight are expected. The two place settings therefore feel related without looking mechanically identical.

Natural wood Wakasa nuri chopsticks complete the set. The glass rests keep their tips raised during a meal, while the boxed pair gives the set an easy gifting context for a wedding, new home or spring occasion.

The cherry blossom reference creates the initial appeal, but the table function means the set does not need to disappear once spring is over.
