Hana-no-Hana is a classic Japanese kō (香) fragrance created in 1911 by master perfumer Yūjirō Kito and later adopted by Nippon Kōdō (日本香堂). It was born from the meeting of Japanese incense-making techniques and Western perfume culture, and more than a century later it remains a beloved floral incense with a soft, elegant presence. The name Hana-no-Hana literally means “flower of flowers,” and the fragrance is designed to leave a beautiful nokoriga (残り香, lingering scent) that stays gently in the air after the incense has finished burning.
This assorted set offers three distinct floral moods: Rose (薔薇), rich and radiant; Fresh Lily (百合), light and mildly sweet; and Lovely Violet (菫), delicate, sweet and quietly refined. Each scent has its own character, yet all share the airy, graceful depth that made Hana-no-Hana a foundation of modern floral incense in Japan. Ideal for a calm evening, welcoming guests, or simply refreshing a room, these sticks bring a sense of everyday beauty to modern life.
