The NATURE stripe salad bowl shares the same handled form as its leaf counterpart 15 x 13cm, 5cm deep, with flat rim ears on either side but carries the striped some-nishiki pattern: blue underglaze and red overglaze, painted and fired twice. The stripe sits against the raised sides of the bowl with quiet geometric confidence.

In the kitchen: a pasta side, a green salad, roasted Mediterranean vegetables, warm hummus with flatbread. The handled form passes easily at the table.

Made in Hasami, Nagasaki Prefecture. not dishwasher safe.
