The Cosmos finish is less like a printed pattern and more like a surface in motion.

Bubble-like pigment spreads across the porcelain in clouds and speckles, creating the impression of a distant nebula. The distribution changes across the cup, so the surface never settles into a simple repeating design.

Blast finishing gives the exterior its distinctive matt texture, softening reflected light and making the hazy, atmospheric effect feel even deeper.

Underneath that unusual surface is the reason KOSHUHAI has such a particular shape. Its rounded interior guides aroma upwards along the walls and keeps it circulating closer to the narrowed opening, making fragrance a more noticeable part of the drink.

A slight waist gives the fingers a natural resting point, while the three-foot base lifts the cup from the table. The 300ml capacity leaves room for ice with whisky or shochu and works equally well when you want to enjoy the aroma of tea or coffee.
