The plate that turns a shared meal into a small occasion.

The kogiku small chrysanthemum is Japan's most noble flower: the imperial crest, a symbol of longevity, and one of the sixteen-petal blooms that has graced Japanese ceramics since the Edo period between 17th and 19th century. Here, hundreds of tiny chrysanthemum heads repeat across the full 24cm face of a deep-welled sharing plate, rendered in clean indigo blue on white Hasami porcelain.

At this size, generous without being unwieldy, the plate works as a centrepiece for a kitchen table supper: a mezze spread, a pile of roasted vegetables, a soft cheese surrounded by crackers and fruit. The slight depth means it holds sauces and salad dressings without spill.

The KOMON large plates mix beautifully with the side plates in different patterns. Together they build a table that feels layered, intentional, and quietly beautiful.
