At approximately 90 cm square, the cloth has enough scale for larger gifts, bottles, clothing, homeware and generous parcel wrapping. It can also be laid across a table, used as a decorative textile, tied around a picnic or converted into a lightweight carry bag with a compatible separate handle or strap.
The cotton shantung has a crisp, lightly irregular texture and a soft sheen, helping the cloth hold its own as a home textile rather than simply a wrapping material.
