With zelkova, the grain becomes part of the design.

Sweeping lines move around the rounded body, changing as you turn the cup in your hand. No added pattern is needed, and natural differences in the timber mean every cup has its own arrangement of grain and colour.

The Enuma shape adds a functional detail to that visual character. Its fuller lower body narrows towards the opening, helping gather the aroma of tea or coffee closer to the rim as you drink.

Zelkova also gives the cup a very different experience from ceramic or glass. Wood transfers heat slowly, keeping a warm drink comfortable in the hand and avoiding the sharply cold surface of glass with an iced drink.
