Most coffee drippers look deliberately modern. ANCIENT POTTERY takes the opposite approach.

Its low, three-hole form is designed around a small 1–2 cup brew. Water spends more time in the coffee bed than with a large single opening, making it particularly suited to a measured pour when you only want one mug or a small pot.

The surface gives it a very different presence from conventional coffee equipment. Irregular glaze, darker pooling and softly aged tones create the impression of an older piece of pottery or metalwork, while the body itself is Mino Ware stoneware made for regular use.

It can sit directly over a mug, so there is little equipment to set out or put away. Over time, the surface may also develop subtle changes in tone, particularly on the Brass finish.

It is the practical side of ANCIENT POTTERY: old-object character without needing to treat it like an antique.
