At a glance

• Smooth, clean green tea fragrance with gentle sweetness
• Fresh rather than smoky, roasted or strongly herbal
• 40 coreless sticks, approximately 25 minutes each, with ceramic holder included

Green Tea is one of the cleanest fragrances in Kayuragi.

Nippon Kodo describes it as smooth and clean, with green tea as the main note. Rather than trying to recreate a strongly roasted tea or a bitter dried leaf smell, the fragrance stays light, fresh and gently sweet.

That makes it useful for someone who wants incense without an obvious floral, fruit or resinous character. It still has personality, but the overall impression is quieter and more neutral than Jasmine, Osmanthus or White Peach.

Kayuragi is built around the combination of fragrance and slowly moving smoke, with packaging inspired by kimono fabrics. Each coreless stick burns for approximately 25 minutes.

The box contains 40 sticks and a mini ceramic incense holder.

Really lovely fragrance! Strong enough that you can smell it but not overpowering. Must also compliment the customer service which was efficient, friendly & respectful. Looking forward to getting more from this shop.

Thank you Karen, your review means a lot to us. I am so glad that you enjoy both the incense and our service. We are continuing to expand our range of incense and other products, stay tuned! :)
