A striped teapot sounds simple until you look closely at how the colour is made.

In the NATURE collection, the blue lines are hand-painted beneath the glaze before the main firing. Red is added afterwards as overglaze and fired separately. Because the two colours sit at different layers of the finished porcelain, the stripes have more depth than a single printed pattern.

Compared with the freer Leaves design, Stripe keeps the decoration controlled and graphic. Small differences in the hand-painted lines prevent the pattern from feeling mechanically precise.

The teapot includes a removable metal strainer for loose-leaf tea. At approximately 500ml, it is an easy size for everyday brewing for one or two people, from Japanese green tea and hojicha to Earl Grey or herbal infusions.

The Stripe pattern continues across NATURE mugs, bowls and plates and also mixes naturally with Leaves, giving the table a connected look without requiring an identical matched set.
