The NATURE Leaves plate gets its depth from the way the colour is built, not simply from the pattern itself.

Blue gosu is hand-painted onto the porcelain before glazing and the main firing. The red details are added afterwards as overglaze, so the two colours sit at different levels in the finished surface. Look closely and the leaves have a layered quality that a flat printed pattern would not create.

The 21cm size is an easy everyday plate for toast, sandwiches, salads, cake or a lighter lunch. The 28cm version gives a main course more room and works naturally for pasta, curry, one-plate meals or food brought to the centre of the table.

The same Leaves pattern runs through NATURE bowls, cups and other tableware, making it easy to build a coordinated setting without every piece having the same shape.
