A mug for people who notice things.

The NATURE stripe is the same two-firing some-nishiki technique as the leaf pattern cobalt blue underglaze painted first, akae red overglaze added second but where the leaf design fills the space freely, the stripe works with geometric restraint. Two lines, different colours, at slightly different depths. It sounds simple. It does not look simple.

At approximately 300ml with a wide, comfortable handle, this is a mug for daily use without apology. It pairs with the leaf mug across a kitchen table in a way that feels coordinated without being matched a small design decision that makes the start of every day feel like something.
