The lotus fragrance is soft and clean, with a restrained sweetness that feels lighter than a rich floral perfume. Once lit, it gives the room a more open, airy character rather than filling the space with a strong bouquet.

The inspiration comes from lotus flowers opening in the quiet of a summer morning at Mimurotoji, south of Kyoto. The image suits the fragrance particularly well: floral, still and gentle, with plenty of space around it.

Compared with the sweeter Daigo no Sakura or the warmer Nishijin no Mokusei, Mimurodo no Hasu sits on the calmer, cleaner side of the Kungyokudo collection.

Each box contains 60 sticks, with an approximate burn time of 25 minutes per stick. No incense holder is included.
