Murasakino Evening Haze is the sweeter floral side of SANSHISUIMEI.

Sandalwood supports tuberose and jasmine, while Kousaido describes fruit-like sweetness with a violet character running through the fragrance. It has more softness and richness than Saga or Kamo, without the amber depth of Gion.

The name refers to haze spreading across Murasakino at dusk. The incense itself is purple, linking the fading colour of the landscape with the fragrance's sweeter, softer character.

This is where the SANSHISUIMEI idea becomes more than a list of Kyoto place names. Each scent takes a different atmosphere from the city and translates it into a distinct fragrance direction.

Choose Murasakino if you tend towards warm or enveloping florals. For something clearer and fresher, Kamo or Saga are better starting points; for less sweetness and more musk, Arashiyama moves in the opposite direction.
