Light the incense inside and the landscape comes to life, with smoke slowly emerging from the summit of a palm-sized Mt. Fuji.

For stick incense, place the included incense stand on the saucer before setting the mountain cover over it. The surrounding ceramic form helps contain falling ash and gives the burning stick some protection from light air movement, while the smoke finds its way out through the opening at the peak.

The ceramic saucer can also be used as a base for incense cones, giving the holder another way to fit into your incense routine without needing a separate burner.

The bright turquoise glaze gives the familiar mountain form a playful rather than overly traditional character. Hand-finishing means small differences in colour, shape and surface can appear from one piece to another.

At around 8cm across, it takes up little space on a shelf, bedside table or desk. Once the incense has finished, the mountain still reads naturally as a small decorative object rather than an empty burner.
