A teapot for slower afternoons.

The FIORE wakaba teapot is painted in "sabi", an iron-oxide pigment that fires to a warm, muted rust-brown with a flowing leaf motif applied freehand by craftsmen in Arita. The earthy warmth of the sabi pigment gives this teapot a different character from the indigo flower vine version: quieter, more autumnal, suited to afternoons that ask nothing in particular of you.

The form is shared across the FIORE range: a rounded body that encourages tea leaves to circulate freely, a built-in filter, a smooth-pouring spout. At approximately 450ml, it brews two full cups. Because the painting is done by hand, each teapot is subtly its own.

Pair with the wakaba yunomi cups. Works with any tea, hojicha or oolong tea feel particularly at home in it.

Made in Arita, Saga Prefecture. Dishwasher and microwave safe.
