At a Glance

• Real Kanazawa gold leaf catches the light across clear Edo Glass with a soft, snow-like finish
• Low 150ml shape and wide opening work for cold tea or sake, as well as ice cream, fruit and small desserts
• Matching larger Kinsai Awayuki dessert bowls extend the same glass-and-gold look across the table

The wide opening is what makes this small glass especially versatile.

Clear Edo Glass has a soft, snow-like appearance, scattered with real Kanazawa gold leaf that catches warm flashes of light as the cup moves. The contrast between cool glass and gold gives even a simple serving a little more presence.

At 150ml, the low, wide form works naturally for cold tea or sake, but the generous opening also makes it practical for a scoop of ice cream, berries, cut fruit, yoghurt or another small dessert.

It belongs to Yoshitani Glass’s Kinsai Awayuki collection. iromizu also carries a larger matching five-bowl dessert set, allowing the same glass-and-gold finish to continue from drinks into dessert and small servings.

As each piece is handmade, slight differences in shape, finish and decoration may occur.
