Kosometssuke 古染付
KOSOMETSUKE 古染付 is painted in gosu onto ko-hakuji, a porcelain body developed to recreate the look of early Imari, the first Arita export ware. The rustic surface and loose underglaze brushwork sit together with real warmth, and Kihara notes the glaze itself varies slightly from piece to piece, a quality of the firing, not a flaw.
